Eclipsed Aquarius Moon
One thing at a time.
Our emotional anchor, the moon, was eclipsed by the sun this morning. We can use this movement to our advantage.
The world is changing. And our way of perceiving ‘change’ has to change. This is the central paradox of today’s eclipse.
The word ‘change’ is super-charged and it rings differently in everyone’s heart and mind. But as we reinvent our relationship to our world, the first thing we have to shift is our mindset.
So we absolutely must pay more attention to the way we use words to define our lives, to process our experiences into thoughts. We can begin by making friends with the word ‘change’ because we are in it now. All the way in.
When a moon is eclipsed, we’re asking ourselves to be more aware of things we’ve missed so far. And when that eclipse happens in Aquarius, we notice new thoughts that have scared us to the point where we pushed back the more unfamiliar thought because it felt uncomfortable or alien or impossible.
But we’re living into a time of re-evolution. A time when every thought is up for re-invention. The ride is bumpy. And liberating. And exhausting. Often heart-breaking. And still, here we are, with two choices: Accept and maybe even embrace the need for a revolution of mind or, option #2: Long for a return to the way things ‘were’ and feel immobilized.
Is it possible we were born into this time to disrupt the status-quo, to re-invent personal and cultural approaches, to change the broken patterns? Does that question worry you just a little? If it does, you are right where you belong and in good company. Everyone alive is being strongly urged to step into life now without hanging on to that old sense that if we just wait long enough, ‘things will return to normal’. There is no normal. And we are living examples of what it looks like when humans cast off from the safe shore of their mind-territory.
To do this, we have to stretch all the way into our character. Honor the voice that’s been bubbling up to the surface for years and is ready now to carry you into your life with a sense of belonging to your purest well of Self.
Anne Lamott has said this: I tell you, something is rising, unscripted, elemental, incremental.
Our eclipse is helping us to see what lingers in the mists of our minds, waiting to be recognized as a clearer truth so that we can nourish the rising of a new world.
Wishing you and all Being peace and love.
