Gemini New Moon

Imagine you’re outside, laying on your back, looking up at the clouds and the sky begins to open into multiple dimensions, revealing the vast range of cosmic consciousness. You are reminded that there is no end to the infinite possibilities available to your mind.

As this new Gemini moon activates our brain’s fascination with information, it will spend the weekend merging with the expanded consciousness of Super-minded Uranus. When these two energies align, the Cosmic Mind has easy, fluid access to the human brain.

Think about that for a minute. This new Gemini moon offers us an invitation to expand beyond our 3-dimensional perceptions. Our human-based thought patterns begin to feel too tight as we listen more carefully to the stories we tell ourselves about our lives. “What else?” asks this wild-minded couple? “How could you expand on your story?“

We humans love stories. Whether we’re talking to ourselves silently or talking to others, we are defining our lives with the words we choose. Our moon and its wizardly companion encourage us to be more conscious of the mental choices we make as we write our scripts. They hope we’ll step away from old mind patterns and create a new storyline, both for ourselves and for our world.

How do we do this? How do we detach a little from the story we think defines us? Maybe we ask more of our brains . . . more ideas that intrigue us. More ideas that engage us with a new sense of possibility. More curiosity for new options as the brain spins its story.

This isn’t magic realism. The cosmos isn’t encouraging delusional thinking or asking us to walk away from our responsibilities or our values. But we are being asked to play with our more conventional thoughts, to create more space for parts of ourselves that have kept their silence but are longing to be heard.

We humans are standing at the portal—some have already entered it—that leads to a whole new approach to life as we know it. But we have to allow our brains the freedom to engage with our unique thoughts and learn to steer clear of the worn-out mind loop that has no exit ramp, no new information.

This devotion to a new story is the beginning of the shift away from the fear-dominated script we encounter daily and it is also a ticket to ride on the wave of expanding consciousness available now to anyone who wants to enter the flow.

Our language, our choice of words, our ability to meet an old problem with a new set of ideas, taking a breath and listening to ourselves as we describe the situation in front of us . . . these are tools we can access in every moment. It doesn’t cost us anything to re-invent a sentence.

This is not an easy quest. It’s truly hard to imagine a new way to perceive a world so seemingly bent on tearing itself apart. But as you search for a way to lift the energy of our time, maybe begin to listen to yourself creating the story of the moment. Become the visionary storyteller.
